OSHO Translated by: Hasso Krull, Carolina Pihelgas
Courage does not mean, that there is no fear at all, says Osho. On the contrary, there is a fear, but a person have a courage to face it. In that book is given overview, where the fears take their origins from, how to understand one´s fears and where to find courage to face them. Osho thinks, that the instability and changes of life are for one´s benefit – they have to make us glad. We do not need to hang on familiar things, but we have to take unexcpected situations as adventures and increase by that our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
The book begins with an expanding of the meaning of courage, showing, how it expresses itself in a daily life. The focus here is not on the heroic deeds done in extraordinary circumstances, but on how to increase one´s inner courage in order to live every day really and full.
If a life demands a change, we need a courage for changing. Also we need a courage to stand for our own truth, even when others think another way, and courage to step into an unknown despite of fears. We need that in personal and in working relationships and also in order to understand, who we are and why we are here.
„Courage“ includes also descriptions of meditation techniques, which Osho have created for people, who want to control their fears.
OSHO is one of the most renown and challenging spiritual teachers of 20th century.
From 1970es he started to attract an interest of Western young people, who wanted to know, what is meditation, and wanted to change themselves.
Osho is soon already twenty years dead, but the influence of his teaching is still expanding, reaching in all countries people, who want to undertake inner searchings.
